Lava Smashing and Little Hurricanes

What a great way to start a new week!

Right in the opening hour we had three great kids drop in to have some FUN.  Each had their own unique way to play!  One young gentleman played with the great pile of Lego and enjoyed rolling around various cars and parts of cars.  His brother was keen to build one of our sets, so after some questioning, his interest was finally peaked by pulling down the 700+ piece Minecraft Treehouse set!  His first impression of the box was, “It’s heavy!”  Lucky for him we have a FREE store-it for later option and what he was not able to finish we packaged up in a bin for his next visit.

In the meantime their little sister had fun with the Simpson’s House:

Thankfully, being Lego, it was easily pieced back together and the damage done was quickly and easily repaired. 🙂

Later in the afternoon I met another new friend.  He also enjoyed playing in the massive pile of Lego, but when I suggested he try out a new Nexo Knights set he couldn’t refuse.  He built Moltor’s Lava Smasher and wow, it is a fantastic set!

It’s flaming hammers are awesome to behold!  To get the full effect of this little set you’ll need to drop by this week while it is on display.

Crust and Crumb’s Lemon Poppy Seed muffins are on sale this week, only at the Brick Barn.  At a $1 each, several were enjoyed today.  They are sweet, fluffy and mildly tangy.  Almost cupcake like!  We also have chocolate chip cookies, gingersnaps and of course CinnaYums.

Tomorrow I will be posting a new speed build of Ecto 1 from Lego Ideas.  For those ghostbuster enthusiasts, it will also be on display with the Firehouse Headquarters.

Hope to see you soon.
